The Village of Antioch has brought together another great way of connecting with the community. The Village recently partnered with E-Gov Link (www.egovlink.com), a leading internet solutions provider and resource for government agencies nationwide, to provide a mobile app, bringing convenience, 24/7, at your fingertips, from your smartphone.
The free E-Gov Link app, available for Android and iOS, allows you to interact with the Village of Antioch as well as other municipalities that participate with similar service. Outstanding features include the ability to report concerns, on-demand and in real-time, such as pot holes or tall grass. In turn, the app features updates, keeping you informed, increasing satisfaction and building strong relationships. The app also features a stream of useful information and connectivity—upcoming events and news, access to the Village website and social media including Facebook, as well as online registration for Village parks and recreation programs.
“These days, so many businesses and services you interact with in your everyday life have a mobile app—whether it’s a corner coffee shop or a bank. We want to be visible, connecting and informing our residents and community, in the best ways possible. With people spending more time on mobile devices, this is smart and convenient, “ said Larry Hanson, Mayor, Village of Antioch.
The Village welcomes the opportunity to provide this value-added service and looks forward to your feedback. If you have any questions, or would like to share your experience with this new feature, call Lori Romine at 847-395-1000, or email, lromine@antioch.il.gov.
Remember to stay connected with the Village of Antioch through other channels including the Village website, www.antioch.il.gov. You can also stop in Village Hall (874 Main Street) during regular business hours, or call 847-395-1000, and chat with our staff. As always, if you feel there is an emergency, do not use the app for reporting, and dial 911.
The “how-to’s” for downloading the app are available on the link below. Happy app-ing!
