The Governor of Wisconsin has issued an Executive Order referred to as the “Safer at Home” Order which is similar to Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order for Illinois, that went into effect earlier this week. The Wisconsin Governor’s Order will take effect at 8:00am on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. We have learned that several residents of the Antioch Community have errantly received electronic warnings on their cellular devices, regarding the Executive Order issued in the State of Wisconsin. We would like to communicate, in order to avoid potential confusion, that Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order in Illinois remains in effect, and unchanged. It appears the electronic alert may have been transmitted to some Antioch residents due to the close physical proximity to the state border with Wisconsin.
