Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Public Health have placed Region 9, Lake and McHenry Counties, under Tier 1 mitigations beginning 12:01am on Saturday, October 31, 2020. These mitigations will affect bar and restaurant operations, as well as meetings, social events and gatherings. The IDPH will continue to monitor the rates to determine if mitigations may be relaxed, or if additional measures may be required.
