Pool Operations Manager

Overview:
The Village of Antioch is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Pool Operations Manager to oversee the quality and success of all pool operations including the management of the pool managers, staff, lifeguards and swim instructors. The desired candidate will maintain expert-level knowledge of the StarGuard Certification and requirements, and demonstrate thorough knowledge of aquatic facility emergency management, and top-notch customer service policies and practices. Audits all positions to ensure efficiency and improve inefficiencies. Manages swim lesson program by accessing enrollment records and rosters, assigning instructors, merging classes, closing classes and creating new classes as needed. Ensure all classes have been properly created, and class sizes are appropriate. Ensure pool parties are staffed, and rental calendar is current. May have to make important decisions regarding inclement weather, cancellations, and closings. Position description available upon request.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a lifeguard and a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a pool manager.
Current Lifeguard and Swim Instructor Certification or ability to obtain through training prior to pool opening. Options CPO Certification.
Salary & Benefits:
Hourly pay is $14.00
