The newest industrial user moving into Antioch, IL is Westfall Technik – a global manufacturing company creating plastic components for the healthcare industry. Located at 606 Drom Court, this industrial site was previously occupied by MGS Manufacturers, who vacated the building in 2020.
“We are excited to have Westfall Technik join our Antioch community,” said Mayor Lawrence Hanson. “Industrial users continue to bring new jobs and growth, and we are thrilled to be the new home for Westfall.”
120 new employees will be hired to work at this new facility beginning in the Spring.
Westfall Technik is one of many recent industrial users coming to town. Handi-Foil built their facility at the Antioch Corporate Center in 2018, and was quickly accompanied by NuWave, GFX and the recently constructed 170,000 square-foot Fisher Paper Product facility. These manufacturing businesses have brought several jobs to the Village of Antioch in recent years.
Westfall Technik is “All In”, providing end-to-end manufacturing solutions for the complete life cycle of molded plastic parts. From design to prototype, and through production and delivery, their services provide products that are sustainable and benefit people and the planet. Antioch is delighted to be the most recent addition to their 18 worldwide locations.
“We are excited to be welcomed to the Antioch community by Mayor Hanson. After immediate facility upgrades and improvements, Westfall Technik will be hosting a grand opening “open house” for customers to tour the site. The site will serve our current customers and new customers in the medical plastic injection molding and assembly market. With that, we are excited about being able to hire folks from the local area to help and grow our very exciting business while supporting local businesses. At Westfall Technik we pride ourselves in creating opportunities for our employees which can provide career advancement while providing a significant contribution to the healthcare industry and to the well-being of end users. We look forward to being part of the Antioch community” said Mark Gomulka, Chief Operating Officer for Westfall Technik.
