Happy Friday Antioch!
I hope you enjoy a healthy and happy Labor Day weekend! It looks like the weather is going to be hot, I hope you’re able to enjoy some time on or near the water. This is the last weekend that the Aqua Center pool will be open. It’s only $7 per person/per day to swim. The pool is open tomorrow (Saturday, 9/2) through Monday (9/4), from 12 Noon to 5 p.m. each day.
I’m going to keep my message this week a bit brief. I took the week off for a little rest and relaxation. I’m happy to report that I survived the tropical storm that hit the East Coast this week. It ended up being no big deal here in South Carolina.
The week has been relaxing; however, I am ready to get back to work next week. I am excited to welcome the Village of Antioch’s new Assistant Village Administrator, Ashley Eccles, who started this past week. Also, I’m happy to welcome the police department’s new Community Service Officer/Code Enforcement Officer Alex Moreno. Welcome to the team, Ashley and Alex!
