Happy Friday, Antioch!
The weather looks like it is going to be -perfect- this weekend. I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy it! I cannot promise the same for the Bears game on Sunday.
There are a couple of highlights from our Village Board meeting from Wednesday. First, congratulations to Antioch Police Department veteran officer Tim Lynch on his promotion to Sergeant! Sgt. At our Village Board meeting, we also approved three new members of the Antioch Parks Commission. Congratulations and welcome; Jodi Klemm, Dave Olufs, and Libby Deichsel.

Did you see that Polson’s has reopened? The store reopened this week following the traffic accident that month that significantly damaged the front of the store. According to Polsen’s Facebook page, the repairs on the front part of their building will not be finished for at least another month or two, however, they will remain open. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the accident and the store has been able to reopen!
