Happy Friday, Antioch!
I’m thrilled to welcome all the visitors who will be joining us for the upcoming Vintage Shop Hop next Friday and Saturday! This fantastic event brings together eight of our fantastic local shops alongside more than 400 others across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. It’s an absolute treat that occurs twice a year and typically draws in several hundred people to our beloved Antioch. Come and experience the excitement for yourself by visiting participating shops like Family Heirloom Antiques, Great Lakes Antiques – Boutique, Inspired Home, The Island Antiques, Ms. Peddler’s Boutique, Rustic and Reclaimed Market, Vintage Mercantile, and Wilmot Heritage Antiques. For more details, make sure to visit: https://vintageshophop.blogspot.com/
Did you see the crowd downtown last Saturday for the 2023 Fall Wine Walk? We had the biggest-ever turnout for a Parks Department Wine Walk – over 600 people were out enjoying sips of wine and visiting our downtown businesses! Thank you, Joe, Tina, and Hannah from Star 105.5/102.3 for helping us promote the event. Also, thank you to Congressman Brad Schneider and his wife, Julie, for spending the afternoon with us! Mark your calendar, the next wine walk will be the Winter 2024 Antioch Wine Walk on Saturday, January 20, 2024.
