I hope you can join me downtown tomorrow for the 2023 Treat the Streets / Harvest Fest! Tomorrow is going to be a fun and busy day, with Treat the Streets running from 12 noon – 2 p.m., and Harvest Fest from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. During Treat the Streets, kids will have an opportunity to get dressed up in their Halloween costumes and go trick-or-treating at participating downtown Antioch businesses. (See graphics below) Please note, for the safety of the children participating in Treat the Streets, parking restrictions will be in place downtown from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Harvest Fest runs from 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes a fall craft fest, bounce houses, hayrides, food trucks, and more!
You can get a jump start on getting into the Halloween feel tonight at the PM&L Theatre! The PM&L will begin its run of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Did you know that this is the 61st season of performances at the PM&L? Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde starts tonight and runs through November 12th. Is your child an aspiring Ninja Warrior? The Antioch Parks and Recreation Department has a fun class for them! Ninja Warrior classes start November 7th for ages 2 -10 years old. I hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween night on Tuesday! Trick-or-treating hours in the village are on Halloween, (Tuesday, October 31) between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. If you’re going to be driving during that time, please be extra vigilant for young trick-or-treaters. These kids may be more focused on candy than watching for traffic.
