BOARD OF TRUSTEES, REGULAR MEETING

CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Shineflug at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building: 874 Main Street, Antioch, IL.
ROLL CALL Roll call indicated the following Trustees were present: Larson, Foresta, Oldenburger, Hanson, Cunningham and Porch. Also present were Mayor Shineflug, Attorney Clark and Clerk Rowe.
MINUTES A motion was made by Trustee Porch, seconded by Trustee Oldenburger to approve the minutes of the March 19, 2001 meeting as presented. On roll call, the vote was:
YES: 6; Larson, Foresta, Oldenburger, Hanson, Cunningham and Porch.
NO: 0.
THE MOTION CARRIED.
PROCLAMATION A motion was made by Trustee Larson, seconded by Trustee Porch to approve the International Building Safety Week Proclamation, proclaiming April 8 thru 14, 2001 as Building Safety Week in the Village of Antioch. On roll call, the vote was:
YES: 6; Larson, Foresta, Oldenburger, Hanson, Cunningham and Porch.
NO: 0.
THE MOTION CARRIED.
CITIZENS Mr. Michael Klaw, Longview Drive resident, addressed the Board with his concerns regarding old trees located in the parkway. Several branches are falling and he was told by a village employee that there isn't much we could do. Mr. Klaw also reported that he has seen old tires in the creek behind his home. Mayor Shineflug will discuss these situations with staff.

Mrs. Kathy Wilson, Education Foundation, asked the Board the status on the proposed raffle ordinance discussion. Attorney Clark stated that he spoke to Attorney John Kakacek today. This item will be placed on the April 16th agenda for discussion.

GRAND OPENINGS Mayor Shineflug discussed the grand openings being held on April 7, 2001.
ATTORNEY Attorney Clark read aloud the following ordinances:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 150, SECTION 150.083 (B) BY CREATING A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 150.083 (B) (4) AND BY AMENDING CHAPTER 150, SECTION 150.091 (A) (3) PROVIDING FOR THE SALES OF NEW AUTOMOBILES AS A SPECIAL USE WITHIN THE B-3 ZONING DISTRICT AND ADDING NEW CAR SALES TO THE M-1 DISTRICT. To be placed on the April 16 agenda for consideration.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 150 OF THE ZONING CODE BY CREATING NEW SECTIONS TO BE KNOWN AS 150.150, 150.151, 150.152, 150.153, 150.154, AND 150.156 RELATIVE TO LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING STANDARDS. To be placed n the April 16 agenda for consideration.

ADJOURN A motion was made by Trustee Hanson, seconded by Trustee Foresta to adjourn the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees at 8:20 p.m.
